Everything from cooking to canning, labeling, and palletizing happens at our Paterson, NJ plant, where we fill 8oz, 15oz, 28oz, and #10 food service size cans with sauces, pastes, purées, crushed tomatoes, ketchup, and salsa. Over 15 SKUs are available for private label, including low-sodium variants.

What does Northeast Tomato manufacture?
Tomato paste, tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce, marinara sauce, crushed and puréed tomatoes, ketchup, salsa, and tomato juice. Everything starts with California-grown tomatoes and gets finished at our Paterson, NJ facility.
What is your production capacity?
Our Paterson facility runs well over 150,000 cans per day across all sizes, we have active plans to expand capacity in the near future to keep up with growing private label and retail demand.
How long has Northeast Tomato been in operation?
Northeast Tomato has been a leading tomato manufacturing in the NorthEast since 2015. In that time we've grown from a regional operation into a full-scale cooking, canning, and private label facility serving brands across the Northeast and beyond.
Are your products kosher and halal certified?
Yes. Our facility is certified kosher and halal.
Can you manufacture under our private label?
Yes. Private label is a core part of what we do. We handle cooking, canning, labeling, and palletizing in-house, so a brand can come to us with artwork and a spec sheet and walk away with finished pallets ready to ship.
Where are your tomatoes grown?
Exclusively in California's Central Valley, the combination of sun, soil, and growing conditions there produces processing tomatoes with the color and flavor we want, and we have very few regions that can match it.
Where is your facility?
22 Erie Street, Paterson, NJ 07524. Cooking, canning, labeling, and palletizing all happen under one roof.
How long do your canned tomato products last once opened?
Once a can is opened, transfer the contents into a sealed glass or plastic container and refrigerate for up to 7 days. Since our products are made without preservatives, the can itself is built to preserve the contents while sealed, not to store them afterward — so treat the sauce like any other fresh food once the seal is broken.
